African Champions Esperance on Brink of Losing Seven Players Amid Interest Overseas

Champions of the continent Esperance of Tunis are due to see seven of their players exit with their contracts on brink of expiry, Ducor Sports understands.

The contracts of Ben Mohamed, Wael Larbi Mohamed, Sameh Derbali, Ghailane Chaalali, captain Khalil Shammam, and Saad Beguir elapse June this year.

Ayman Ben Mohamed is another player being touted to leave, which means the Tunisian champions will be losing half of their first-team regulars if their deals are not renewed before June.

Players whose agreements end in 12 months are allowed to begin negotiations with suitors, a thing that puts Esperance at a disadvantage of losing out on their stars on free transfer.

There is already rumors of Egyptian Premier League club Zamalek’s persistent interest in Ayman, who only joined the outfit in August from the Irish Premier League’s Bohemians and is valued in excess of 68,000 pounds.
