2023 AFCON 2023 Line-Up Complete

Following the conclusion of Group C on Tuesday night, Cameroon and Namibia have decided on their starting lineups for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

The Indomitable Lions defeated Burundi 3-0 at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua to take first place in the three-team group.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana had to make several crucial saves in the first 45 minutes as Cameroon struggled, but Bryan Mbuemo’s goal just one minute into the second half calmed their nerves.

Soon after, veteran Vincent Aboubakar added the final touch with a sloppy goal in stoppage time for a final score of 3-0. Christopher Wooh had already made it 2-0 with his first goal for the national team.

As a result, Cameroon took first place on the log with seven points, while Namibia came in second place with five points and qualified alongside the five-time African champions. Only their fourth appearance at the Nations Cup, the Brave Warriors.

Ivory Coast (hosts), Morocco, Algeria, South Africa, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Egypt, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, Mali, Guinea, Ghana, Angola, Tanzania, Mozambique, DR Congo, Mauritania, Gambia, Cameroon, Namibia, are all AFCON qualifiers.
