Algerian Club Names Replacement for the Belgian and a Former Gambia National Team Coach

Miloud Hamdi is the man to fill the void created by the departure of Belgian, Paul Put who recently resigned as coach of USM Alger. 46-year-old Hamdi will steer affairs on an interim basis for the first-team until the end of the season when a permanent replacement is named.

Put’s departure followed mixed results he’d overseen in eight games in the league despite leading the side to a decent third-place finish the previous term.

USM Alger’s 2-1 defeat to table-topping CC Constantine last Saturday was the last straw for the former Gambian national team coach.

Miloudi is to be officially unveiled next week Tuesday.
