Victor Wanyama may stay with Tottenham after all, despite earlier reports linking him with a move away from the London based side.

English media has been awash with reports that the Kenyan international is set for Spurs exit following the arrival of French midfielder Tanguay Ndombele.

However, Spurs statement on Wednesday indicate that the midfield enforcer may remain at the club after all. Wanyama wasn’t listed in the list of players who have been made available for departure.

Wanyama is currently in Kenya for holiday and over the weekend he will preside over Wanyama Roya Charity Cup, an annual tournament that he sponsors.

Those who have been allowed to speak to other clubs are Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Danny Rose.
