Uganda Set to Host the First Ever East African Police Games

Uganda will host the first ever East African Police Chiefs Co-operation Games (EAPPCO) in August at Uganda Christian University, Mukono.

The games will be played by police officers who will be competing in the categories of netball, football, boxing, taekwondo, athletics, range shooting, and volleyball.

Seven countries have already confirmed their participation; Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Sudan, and Uganda.

Abu Kalule the sports director of the Uganda Police said, [perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]“We are happy to host the first ever EARRCP games in Uganda and this tournament will bring all the countries together”.[/perfectpullquote]

The competitions are slated for August 24 – 29 under the theme, “Promoting Regional Integration through Sports”.
