Turkish Giants Interested in Cameroon’s Clinton N’jie

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are interested in signing Marseille striker Clinton N’jie this transfer window.

As reported by Turkish outlet Fanatik, the Yellow Canaries are in the market for a striker who can partner with Dani Guiza upfront and their first choice is the former Tottenham man.

The 25-year-old Cameroonian forward is a hot property at the moment, having shone for his country in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Fenerbahce’s sports director Damien Comolli believes that N’jie will improve the squad: “I’m sure that there are a lot of players that are linked with us.

“Certainly Clinton N’jie is doing very well and he is of interest, not just for us, but for many.

N’Jie joined Marseille from Tottenham on a permanent deal in August 2017 and made 39 appearances for Andre Villa-Boas’s side.

He has scored nine international goals from 39 appearances, netting 44 minutes into his Cameroon debut against the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2014.
