Tunisia’s Youssef Msakni is Qatar’s Best for First-half of the League.
Youssef Msakni of Tunisia has been voted the best player for the first-half of the Qatari Stars’ League. The 27-year-old’s feat comes following his impressive record of eleven goals in twelve games for table-toppers and unbeaten side, Al Duhail.
The Tunisian forward warded off competition from fellow African, namesake, and teammate Youssef El-Arabi of Morocco.
EL-Arabi, a former Granada CF striker, tops the scoring chart, plundering in nineteen goals in twelve games but finished second best to Mskani who’s in his seventh season in Qatar.
A CAF Champions League winner, Mskani first joined Duhail in the summer of 2013 from Esperance Sportive Du Tunis.
