This Friday, as the Winter Olympics kick off in South Korea, six West African refugees who make up a small curling team comprising of Gambians and Sierra Leoneans, became a symbolic representation and reminder of the simpleness and joyfulness of playing a sport, especially where doping scandals and geopolitical maneuvering prevailed.
