Township Rollers Wins Third Successive Botswana Premier League Title

That feeling and moment like no other, with so much to celebrate. An achievement worth celebrating by players and fans as Township Rollers clinched its third successive premier league title.

Only the full ninety minutes of two matches played simultaneously was left to decide the winner of the 2017-18 BTC Premiership-Rollers chasing its third consecutive title and Galaxy going for its maiden- this evening.

Rollers finally accomplished its third successive league title and an overall 15th national league title with a comfortable 2-0 win against Extension Gunners with nothing to worry about from its closest rival, Galaxy FC who settled to a goalless draw.

The results from the two matches saw Rollers winning the league with 66 points, while Galaxy finished in second with 62 points.

As all-time highest championships winners in Botswana Premier League, this is the second time it has won the league three times in row as it last did in 1985 after achieving its fourth successive league title.
