Thugs broke into the home of Burkina Faso star Aristide Bance last night and made away with items of unknown value.
The culprits also caused damage to the Sports Union of Armed Force (USFA) forward’s vehicle which was parked up outside the posh house located in the outskirts of Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou.
According to a source, a gang of six who were armed with crude weapons jumped over the fence at around 1 am before breaking into the servant quarters through the rear door.
The thugs could not access the main house which is protected by a perimeter fence.

Bance was not at his house but it is said that he is aware of the incident and he is the one who called in the police to kick off the investigations.
The 34-year-old striker came back to Burkina Faso in February this year and signed for USFA until the end of the season after terminating his contract with Egyptian side Al Masry.
USFA are the second Burkinabe outfit, after Santos, and 21st club overall for the widely traveled former Augsburg, Dusseldorf and Samsunspor striker.
He has had spells with clubs in Ivory Coast, Belgium, UAE, Latvia, Finland, Qatar, Ukraine, South Africa and Kazakhstan.
Bance has made 74 appearances for Burkina Faso, including the 2013, 2015 and 2017 Nations Cups, and has scored 22 goals.
