Ugandan teenage sensation Allan Okello started life in Algeria on a high note scoring for Paradou AC in their 5-0 win over El Bayadh on Thursday 13 February.

Okello registered his maiden goal for the Algerian side with a quality finish at the Omar Hamadi Stadium.

Yousri Bouzok opened the scoring after 16 minutes before Tarek Bouabta, Abdelhak Kadri and Hicham Messiad scored the second, third and fourth for the 2017 league champions.

The 19-year-old Okello won the heart of football fans when he came in from the bench midway the second half to put the icing on the cake with a well-executed strike, in an exciting Algerian Cup Round of 32 encounter.

The left-footed forward joined Paradou last month on a four-year deal, having been acquired from Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA FC).

His contract with the Algerian outfit has a sell-on clause whereby in case of a potential future transfer of the player to another club, KCCA will retain 20% of the transfer fee.

At the time of his departure, Okello was the club’s top scorer in the Uganda Premier League with six goals in the 10 games he played in the first round of the 2019/2020 season.
