Simba Fans Urged Not To Lose Faith In The Team

Simba SC spokesperson Hajji Manara has urged fans not to panic after a one-all draw against Ruvu Shooting on Saturday.

Simba SC spokesperson Hajji Manara has urged fans not to panic after a one-all draw against Ruvu Shooting on Sunday.

The Msimbazi Reds are looking forward to bouncing back to their winning ways when they welcome Mwandui at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Simba have already beaten the Shinyanga-based side twice this season, in the league and Azam Sports Federation Cup.

The Sven Vandenbroeck’s charges are going into the match comfortably leading the Vodacom Premier League table with 72 points having played 29 games.

“I’m aware the draw against Ruvu Shooting has disappointed many people but that should not make us lose our focus, we need to continue supporting the team as has been our tradition,” says Manara.

“The title is still in our hands and we shall not allow it to slip easily, what happened yesterday is part of the game, the technical bench will make amendments on what went wrong.”

Simba only managed 15 shots on goal against Ruvu in their first league match after league resumption but only managed to score once.

Shiza Kichuya broke the deadlock for Msimbazi Reds but Fully Maganga drew the Blues level in a match that Ruvu displayed a good game than their opponents.
