Shalulile: We Are Well Prepared For Al Ahly Clash

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile is relaxed despite the intensity of the African Champions League quarter-final first leg clash against reigning champions Al Ahly set to be played on Saturday in Cairo.

The striker who has been incredible form this season knows the magnitude of the game which he describes as huge adding that they are well prepared for the clash.

“We are playing against good players and tactical players that are very good. As for our preparations we have been preparing very well for them,” Shalulile told Sundowns portal.

“Going into the first round with Al Ahly is very important to everyone, it’s important to the club itself and everyone that is playing for Sundowns.

“For us it’s just to make sure that we go through to the next round and for that, it requires each and everyone to be on their highest form and just to do good on that particular day.”

The Namibian international also expressed his club’s strong will to successfully win their second African Champions League title.

“It’s very important for the club to get a second star. It would be a dream come true for each and every player because every player wants to win this, it would be such a blessing in one’s life having a second star,” Shalulile added.

The aggregate winner of the match between Al Ahly and Sundowns will face either CR Belouizdad or Esperance de Tunis for a place in the final.
