Senegalese striker Oumar Niasse has joined Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.

The 28 year old Senegalese returned to the English Premier League after a loan spell at championship side Hull City, where he scored 4 goals in 17 appearances.

“I’m really pleased to be at Cardiff City, having heard about the manager [Neil Warnock] from other players and met him earlier today, I knew this was the right move for me,” Niasse told Cardiff media.

“Other clubs were interested, but I was convinced that this was where I wanted to come.”
