Sebastien Migne Has Been Appointed Coach of Congo Brazzaville.

Sebastien Migne has been hired as new Congo Brazzaville coach to replace Pierre Lechantre.

The 44-year-old French man who previously worked as Claude LeRoy’s assistant up until November 2015 when the latter was coach of Congo, will make a return to the 1972 African championship side.

Congo who fired Lechantre in November 2016 and was without a coach since, has contracted Migne – shortlisted with Patrice Neveu, John Toshack, and Paul Put – on a two-year deal keeping in mind, qualification for the 2018 African Nations Championship and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Congo’s last appearance at the Nations cup was in 2015 where they progressed to the quarter-finals under LeRoy and it was also the nation’s first appearance at the finals since 2000 but a third since 1978.
