South Africa Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates have lifted an indefinite suspension that had been imposed on 27-year-old forward Thembinkosi Lorch.
The club had suspended Lorch for breaking protocols in the Absa Premiership’s Bio-Safe Environment in Guateng.
According to a statement on the club’s official website, the technical bench together with the clubs’ management reviewed the players’ case and lifted the ban after Lorch acknowledged his mistake and asked for forgiveness.
“Thembinkosi Lorch has been cleared to return to the squad following the finalization of the disciplinary proceedings against him and the lifting of his suspension by the club,” read the statement.

“The 25-year-old has joined the squad in the BSE Bubble after undergoing his two Covid-19 tests as per the protocols,” continued the statement.
Lorch was serving suspension together with Zambian international Justin Shonga, who according to the statemen, he will remain in the cold for more days as his matter hasn’t been finalized.
The Bafana Bafana international, Lorch, joined Pirates in July 2016 from former National First Division side Maluti FET College.
