Nurkovic Returns To Kaizer Chiefs Squad

Samir Nurković is the big piece of the news in the Kaizer Chiefs squad for the African Champions League match against Angolan side Primeiro De Agosto that will take at Estadio 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda.

The Amakhosi made the travelling squad public on Sunday for the Tuesday’s African Champions League last 32 second leg clash.

Nurkovic returns to the squad after sitting on the sidelines at the Amakhosi due to politics off the field of play that came after his recovery from a groin injury.

The Serbian attacker was top scorer for Amakhosi last season with 13 league goals but has not played a single match this season.

Chiefs travelled to Luanda on Sunday after securing a special charter flight that was allowed to land in the Angolan capital despite the closure on the southern African country airspace.

The Glamour Boys take on Agosto hoping for a favorable result after the two sides played to a 0-0 draw last month.
