Nabby Keita Comes to the Rescue of Ailing Former Syli Nationale Defender

Liverpool midfielder Nabby Keita has contributed € 2000 to enable ailing former Guinea national team defender Mamadi Kaba Dieng continue receiving treatment in Conakry.

Liverpool midfielder Nabby Keita has contributed € 2000 to enable ailing former Guinea national team defender Mamadi Kaba Dieng continue receiving treatment in Conakry.

Kaba has been dealing with an undisclosed ailment and early this year, he was admitted at Chui Ignace Deen Hospital for specialized treatment.

Keita’s delegation presented the cash to the medical facility on Thursday to aid in offsetting the ex-international hospital bill and offered him a full medical cover.

The former RB Leipzig talisman’s contribution adds to €1,000 that Kaba received from Maccabi Hafia’s attacking midfielder Seydoubah Soumah, earlier this week.

In his career, Kaba played for FC Lugano in Swiss, where he made six appearances before moving back to his native country Guinea where he joined local side AS Kaloum Star.

He also played club football for FC Guegun in France, winning several accolades with the team.

Kaba made five appearances for Guinea national team during the 2004 and 2006 Africa Cup of Nations.

At that time, the 39-year-old formed a formidable partnership with former Syli Nationale captain Ibrahima Camara in the backline.
