Multiple Clubs Show Interest In Congolese Striker Jackson Muleka

Clubs in England and France have shown interest in DR Congo international, Jackson Muleka, this according to reports coming out of Belgium.

Muleka is currently playing for Belgian side, Standard Liege in the first tier where he has hand a convincing first season with the Rouches.

According to World Today News, who were referencing La Dernière Heure in Belgium, several unnamed clubs in French Ligue 1 and English Premier League have also made tentative enquiries about the former TP Mazembe striker.

As reported last year before he joined Liege, there were talks of a possible new two-year deal on the cards for the player from French top side Lille, but the Rouches snatched the star.

English Premier League side Crystal Palace also emerged as angling to sign Muleka on loan from Lille if the Ligue 1 side managed to sign him.

Muleka joined Liege in September 2020 on a long term deal for the fee plus an array of potential bonuses that takes up the deal to €2 million.

His contract with the Belgian giants will expire in 2024 and it remains to be seen whether the player is set for a move away this summer or if he will see out his existing contract and move on a free at the end of his deal.
