Congo- Brazzaville international forward Mavis Tchibota has completed his switch to Bulgarian top tier side Ludogorets.

The 23-year-old, who is the son of former Red Devils player Pierre Tchibota, joins from Israeli club Bnei Yehuda having already signed a pre-contract agreement with the former Bulgarian champions in February.

Strongly linked with a move to Guizhou Hengfeng, Ludogorets swooped on the player after long negotiations.

“This is an organization that has a dream and is working hard to make that dream come true,” Tchibota told the club’s official website.

Having launched his European career with Maccabi Tel Aviv, he went on to have spells with four other Israel clubs such as Haepol Kfar Saba and Bnei Yehuda.

Tchibota made his debut for the Red Devils in September 2017 when he played in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

Although they failed to reach this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, Tchibota played for his country in various international tournaments including 2011 Under-17 World Cup in Mexico.
