Marumo Gallants Sack Coach Migne For Use Of Foul Language

Sebastian Migne has been sacked as Marumo Gallants head coach for abusing the club Technical Director Haris Choue.

The incident is reported to have happened in public and in presence of technical bench at OR Tambo International Airport on a trip to Durban last weekend to play a South Africa Premier Soccer League match against Golden Arrows

Marumo Gallants chairman Abram Sello confirmed they sacking of the Frenchman which came after a disciplinary hearing on Thursday when Migne pleaded guilty of insubordination.

“As a coach is duty is to install discipline in the team.The club followed the collect disciplinary procedure and the decision to release him was made,” said Sello.

“It is unfortunate that Sebastien had to be dismissed especially at a crucial time when we are pushing to remain in the league and remain in CAF Confederation Cup.”

David Mathebula and Mpho Maleka are reported to have taken coaching reigns at Marumo Gallants FC as co-caretaker coaches.

Migne leaves Gallants at time they are preparing to face DR Congo giants AS Vita in the first round of CAF Confederation Cup first leg match on Friday.

Former Kenya and Equatorial Guinea tactician was appointed as Gallants coach in July 1 and only managed one win in seven matches in-charge.

He leaves the club rooted o the foot of the DStv Premiership standings as they are yet to manage a win in their opening five matches.
