Manchester United Keen To Sign Senegal Winger Ismaila Sarr

English Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the availability of Senegal international Ismail Sarr.

According to media reports in England, Sarr has become a Red Devils target as they are likely to fail to snap Borrusia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

The German giants want more than £100m for Sancho but United are only prepared to pay around £90m.

Sarr currently turns for Watford and is valued at £40 million and United are ready to pay the amount as coach Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to strengthen his striking department.

The Teranga Lions star was previously linked with a move to Liverpool after Watford relegation from the Premier League but the recently failed to rule the winger to Anfield.

Sarr scored six goals and recorded as many assists in 30 Premier League appearances in 2019-20. He clocked full 90 minutes on Saturday as Watford beat Luton in their first game of the new season.

The 22-year-old signed for Watford on a five-year-contract worth £32 million one season ago from French Ligue One outfit Rennes on the last day of transfer window.

The Generation Foot Academy graduate was part of the Senegal squad that reached the final of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament before they were beaten 1-0 by Algeria.
