Kenya Names Squad for CHAN Qualifiers

Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has named his preliminary CHAN squad that will take on Tanzania in CHAN qualification matches.

This comes days after Kenya was knocked out of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt and Kenya will once again be facing Taifa Stars having beaten them in Cairo.

Seven players who were part of the African Cup of Nations squad have been included in the team. They are John Oyemba, Bernard Ochieng, Philemon Otieno, Joash Onyango, Dennis Odhiambo and John Avire.

AFC Leopards defender Yusuf Mainge has earned his maiden call-up to the national team. While Ulinzi Stars captain James Saruni returns to the national set-up.

The team will hit camp on 19th July. The first leg will be played on 28th July in Tanzania while the second leg will be played on 4th August in Nairobi.
