James Walatee Proving to be a Striking Force in the Liberian League

JamesWalatee is the man giving goose bumps to defenses in the Liberian First Division, having nicked in 10 goals. The striker is the reason for FC Fassell’s terrific run this season as the Soccer Missionaries sit top of the Liberian league on thirty-four (34) points, losing only thrice in fifteen games so far.

The impressive run on goal makes him the league’s top goal-getter ahead of Barack Young Controllers’ attacker Van Dave Harmon who is on 9.

Nimba United’s Mustapha Lomell is third on the goal chart as Amadiah Kawah Keitrace FC and Farsedu Logan of FC Fassel trail behind with each netting 7 times this season.

Fassel is five points clear of Controllers on the summit of the standings and James staying free from injuries throughout the season will be more than a relief for coach Sam Chebli.

Founded in 2009, The Soccer Missionaries won the Liberian Cup in 2014 and they will fancy adding another gong to the collection with Walatee the captain, set to play a big part.
