Injured Nigeria’s Uche Could Quit Algerian Giants JSK

Nigeria’s Nwofor Uche is potentially on his way out of JSK Kabylie after failing to put on a lasting impression on coaches.

Nigeria’s Nwofor Uche is potentially on his way out of JSK Kabylie after failing to put on a lasting impression on coaches.

The ex-Super Eagles’ striker is ruled out for rest of the season having sustained a serious wound in his knee after crashing into the billboards during a game.

Doctors of his title-chasing Algerian club JSK Kabylie say the attacker isn’t expected to recuperate until end of the season which leaves the side with little option but to focus on making do without him for rest of the soon-to-end campaign.

It comes at a time the former Rivers United has done little to impress prompting chairman Cherif Mellal to trim the Nigerian from his pay list to free up funds a bit.

Additionally, Uche’s four goals in more than 20 league games appear to argue against his retention.

A meeting is expected to be held including French gaffer Frank Dumas at one of Mellal’s offices, to discuss compensation with the forward’s agent.

JSk are ranked second in the 16-team Algerian log with seven points separating them with leaders USM Alger.
