Guinea Line-Up Two International Friendlies

Guinea will face Algeria and Ivory Coast in two international friendlies matches scheduled for September 2022.

Syli Nationale will take on Algeria in the first match on September 23 in Oran before playing Ivory Coast four days later away in Amines, France.

“The Guinean national team will take advantage of the international break in September 2022 to play two friendly matches. The opponents are Algeria and Ivory Coast,” Guinea FA said in statement.

“The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers initially scheduled for September 2022 were been postponed to March 2023. However, the Syli National will not be idle during the FIFA window from September 19 to 27 2022.

“The regrouping of the team will take place in Algeria from September 18, 2022. The group will leave Oran on September 24 to settle in France where the match against Côte d’Ivoire is scheduled. The internship will end on September 28, 2022.”

Guinea are in Group D of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Ethiopia, Malawi and Egypt.

The Syli Nationale are currently lying in third position of the AFCON qualifiers with three points from two matches.
