FIFA President Gianni Infantino to Pay a Two-Day Visit to Uganda

FIFA President Gianni Infantino will pay a two-day visit to Uganda at the invitation of the Federation of Uganda Football Association President, Eng. Moses Magogo.

Infantino who campaigned on a manifesto of extensive inclusion has embarked on a campaign of meeting FIFA Member Associations around the globe to share ideas on football development projects.

According to the FUFA official website, a letter signed by the FIFA president confirmed that the visit will cover two days, 25th and 26th Feb. 2017.

They will be laying a foundation for further cooperation and sharing visions to help continue development of football in the country.

FUFA President Eng. Magogo – who is in Doha for FIFA Executive Football Summit – expressed his gratitude saying,

Infantino will arrive from South Africa where the FIFA and the continental body, CAF, are convening for the second FIFA summit.
