Egyptian premier league outfit Wadi Degla have been asked to compensate Sfaxien Sports Club for their Tunisia international striker.

Rafik Kabou has been at the heart of a fierce tug-of-war between Sfaxien and Degla over transfer fees.

Kabou moved to the Cairo side August last year on a reported 550,000 euros from Tunisian side US Monastir.

It turned out Sfaxien installed a clause in the contract of the 27-year-old right-winger, allocating them a portion of the deal in the event of any future sale.

The latter took up the matter with the world football governing body who sat over the long-running saga and passed its judgment Tuesday night.

In the verdict, Wadi Degla were asked to pay US$12,000 to Sfaxien in developmental fees.
