Esperança, Zamalek Share Spoils In Luanda

Sagrada Esperança drew 0-0 with Zamalek in the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League Group D match at Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola on Saturday afternoon.

Victoriano should have given Esperança the lead after just 10 minutes, the striker got beyond the Zanalek defence but managed to scoop his effort well wide of the mark with only the keeper to beat.

Razack Cisse came close to giving Zamalek the lead just before the halftime break, the White Knights winger did well to beat three defenders before blazing an effort over the crossbar.

Zamalek goalkeeper, Mohamed Abou Gabal, proved to be the busier of the two keepers in the second half , pulling off some fine saves to keep Esperança at bay.
