Egyptian Premier League giants Al-Masry have moved swiftly to tie Burkina Faso international Saidou Simpore to a new improved deal.

The 26-year-old joined the Green Eagles in January 2019 from Dakhleya and his contract with the Port-Said based outfit was due to expire in June next year.

However, Al Masry have quickly moved to offer Simpore a three-year contract after reconciling with the board.

“Al-Masry have the intention to keep most of their youngsters including Saidou Simpore on long-term contracts,” a source close to club tells Ducor Sports.

“The club has tied their Burkinabe midfielder on a three-year contract,” the source added.

There has been uncertainly about the future of the former Rail Club du Kadiogo ever since Ali Maher took over the coaching role at the club

Simpore made 47 appearances for the Egyptian side across all competitions, where he scored 11 goals and provided six assists.
