Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Leicester ace Dennis Gyamfi.

The Daily Star has reported the Ghanaian youngster is the player Manchester City is keen to sign when his scholarship ends this summer.

Gyamfi is yet to feature for Brendan Rodgers’ first-team, but Leicester will demand a compensation fee.

The right-back position at Leicester is currently dominated by highly-rated Ricardo Pereire, making Gyamfi’s route to the first team more difficult.

The Foxes also have James Justin, Eldin Jakupivoc and Jonny Evans who all look more likely to start ahead of him in the coming season.

Gyamfi has been dominant in the City’s Under-18s this season, playing 27 times in total.

Apart from Manchester City, Arsenal and Dutch giants Feyenoord have also shown keen interest to sign the player, who has been capped for the Netherlands Under-19s.
