Clinton Njie Leaves Dynamo Moscow By Mutual Consent

Cameroon international Clinton Njie has left Dynamo Moscow by mutual consent with one year still remaining on his contract.

The Russian club the former Tottenham Hotspur striker has had his deal cancelled on the basis of a previously agreed negotiation.

Njie joined Dynamo Moscow from French Ligue 1 side Marseille in July 2019, scoring six goals in 66 appearances.

A statement on the Dynamo website read; “Dynamo Moscow agreed on contract termination with the winger Clinton N’Jie by mutual consent of both parties.

“We thank Clinton for his performance in Dynamo jersey and wish him success in the future career,” it added.

The 25-year-old began his career at Lyon. After an unsuccessful two-year spell at Tottenham Hotspur, he joined Marseille, initially on loan, in 2016.

Njie made his debut for his country in September 2016 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Democratic Republic of Congo.

He has so far scored ten goals in 42 appearances for the Central Africa football giants and registered several assists.
