Clinton Njie Finds New Club

Cameroon international Clinton Njie has signed for Turkish Super Lig outfit Demir Grup Sivasspor, Ducor Sports can reveal.

Njie, who has been a free agent after leaving Russian giants Dynamo Moscow, has signed a two-year deal.

He scored six goals in 66 appearances for the Whites and Blues, a side that he joined in July 2019 from French Ligue side Marseille.

The 25-year-old began his career at Lyon, and after unsuccessful two-year spell at Tottenham Hotspurs, he joined Marseille, initially on loan, in 2016.

Njie made his debut for his country in September 2016 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Democratic Republic of Congo.

He has so far scored ten goals in 42 appearances for the Central Africa football giants and registered several assists.

Njie joins other African star in the club led by Ivorian Max-Alain Gradel and the Malian duo of Mustapha Yatabare and Samba Camara.

Sivasspor  won the Turkish Cup this year and finished  seventh in the 2021/2022 Turkish Super Lig season.
