Chippa United Part Ways With Coach Gavin Hunt

South Africa Premier Soccer League side Chippa United has announced that they have parted ways with coach Gavin Hunt.

Hunt joined the Eastern Cape-based team at the start of the 2021/22 season before being suspended in November following a string of poor results in the DStv Premiership.

The Chilli Boys have now moved to confirm his departure after an agreement was reached between the two parties.

“Chippa United has parted ways with coach Gavin Hunt in a mutual and amicable agreement after five months with the club.

“We extend our gratitude and support to Gavin Hunt and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.”

Chippa are known for being notorious for their trigger-happy modus operandi as they have had 29 coaches in the past nine years.

The Chilli Boys are currently 15th in the elite league standings, having won only two games, while losing seven and drawing another six.
