Cameroon are petitioned by the South-east African country who’re seeking for Caf’s article 92.3 be activated.

The said article imposes a US$500,000 fine including a possible expulsion to any country failing to meet preparation requirements as hosts of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The aforesaid portion also urges for a 12-month prior notice to any nation unable to stage the Afcon which Cameroon couldn’t do.

The Comoros government are pushing for application of the clause which, if implemented, could see the South-east island nation reach the 2019 Nations Cup finals.
