Two Liberian referees Hassan Corneh and Joel Doe have been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to serve as match officials for the 2023 TotalEnergies U20 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Referee Corneh and assistant referee Doe were selected after successfully completing a preparatory course involving physical and theoretical tests as well as practical training for the tournament.

Former FIFA-badge referee George Rogers is currently in Cairo to serve as an Assistant General Coordinator (AGC) for the tournament.

Rogers will serve as AGC in the opening match when hosts Egypt take on Mozambique on Sunday 19 February at the Cairo International Stadium.
