Buffaloes Gaffer Plays Down Back to Back Big Games

Green Buffaloes coach Bilton Musonda played down this stage being their toughest of the 2018 MTN/FAZ Super League season as they face two title favorites, Nkana and Zesco United, on back to back games.

Musonda alluded to the fact that his team beat both Zesco and Nkana in the first round of the season and all they need is the right approach.

“No, it’s not.  First round we beat Nkana and Zesco, so anything is possible, it’s just the approach of the boys. If it’s the right approach, we take the day. Today we did not make many runs going forward so Nkana were happy with their defense so going into the Zesco United game we just have to change the tactical approach and anything can happen, ” he said.

“We have a chance to go top of the log next week when we face the log leaders Zesco United in Ndola,” he added.

Green Buffaloes missed an opportunity to stay at the apex after they suffered a 1-0 loss to Nkana and have Zesco United to contend with in their next outing.
