Egypt’s Pyramids FC hire former Brazil and AC Milan Champions League winner Nelson Dida to help with the first team goalkeeper training.

Egyptian Premier League outfit Pyramids FC have hired former Brazil and AC Milan Champions League winner Nelson Dida to help with the first team goalkeeper training.

With the backing of Saudi billionaire Turki Al-Sheikh, Pyramids FC have the aura of title contenders heading into the new season and the addition of Dida will give them a massive boost.

The former Brazilian number one had a successful European career winning a Serie A title, a Club World Cup trophy and two Champions League titles while at AC Milan.

At the international level, the 44-year-old also triumphed with Brazil at the 2002 World Cup and brings into the outfit a wide experience.

He also played for Corinthians and Internacional in Brazil before hanging up his gloves.

The club announced they had reached an agreement with the shot-stopper to give their goalkeepers extra coaching sessions for the new league campaign.
