South Africa National First Division side TS Galaxy have completed the signing of Botswana international goalkeeper Ezekiel Morake.

The 23-year-old, who is the current Zebras number one, arrives in Mzansi having also been linked with Chippa United in recent weeks.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of Botswana international goalkeeper, Ezekiel “Zakes” Morake,” Galaxy said in a statement issued on Twitter.

Morake has started in all three matches for the Zebra is the ongoing COSAFA tournament and is credited for helping his national team to the last four of the regional tournament held in KwaZulu-Natal.

“Zakes was instrumental in the elimination of South Africa yesterday when he made a superb save of Tebogo Mokoena’s penalty spot kick. He has won several individual awards in the Botswana Premier League,” TS Galaxy’s statement added.

Maroke joins the Rockets from Jwaneng Galaxy and is seen as a ready-made replacement for Ludwe Mpakumpaku, who is rumored to be on his way out of the team.

TS Galaxy are in signing spree as part of the club’s preparations for the CAF Confederation Cup debut next season, following their historic cup win over Kaizer Chiefs last month.
