According to Sportsdrome, Everton could make a move for the Burkina Faso international that is keen for a return to England to further his career.

Traore is set to quit his French Ligue 1 side Lyon this summer though he still has two years left on his contract.

Lyon are said to be willing to accept offers around €15 million for the ex-Chelsea winger who has been struggling to get into manager Rudi Garcia’s good graces.

The 24-year-old forward could provide Carlo Ancelotti’s side much-needed depth in their forward department as the manager seeks to fulfill his dream to qualify for Europe Champions League.

Traore joined Lyon from Chelsea three seasons ago in a move valued to just at just €10 million ( $9.8 million).

He left Stamford Bridge having only made 16 senior appearances for Chelsea, scoring four goals in the process.

At Lyon, he mainly convinced in his first season, when he scored 18 goals and assisted a further seven in 43 games in all competitions.

Last season, he lost his spot as a regular starter for spells, netting eleven goals and five assists in 48 competitive appearances.
