Bandari Officially Unveil Ugandan Striker Umar Kasumba

Kenyan Premier League outfit, Bandari FC have continued with their love for Ugandan players by officially unveiling former Sofapaka marksman Umaru Kasumba.

The 27-year-old, who was in the books of Sofapaka FC back in 2019 has enjoyed as enjoyed a meteoric rise in Africa which prompted Zesco United to sign him in August 2019 before allowing him to leave the club last year on mutual consent.

After scoring 5 goals in 14 games before the cancellation of the last season, Kasumba arrives as a major addition for Adre Casa Bungo’s squad.

The lanky center forward will link up with fellow Ugandan William Wadri, a former KCCA and Vipers player.

Kasumba rose to prominence with Ugandan Premier League side Police FC from where he switched to SC Villa in 2015 and later Kenyan side Sofapaka in 2016.

Bandari FC lies 5th on the Football Kenya Federation Premier League table with 26 points garnered from 15 games played.

The Dockers be hunting for more points Saturday when they visit Wazito FC at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
