Gor Mahia’ sought-after striker, Jacques Tuyisenge, is closely monitored by AS Vita, according to the latest information available to Ducor Sports.

The Black Dolphins have been monitoring the player for some time, although their interest diminished after the first few games of the season.

Initially, Vita had plans to swap Tuyisenge with Nelson Munganga when the Rwandese international moved to K’Ogalo two seasons ago.

A Ducor Sports source close to Kinshasa-based outfit confirmed that Vita have renewed their interest in the player, with a view to strengthening the team in the not so distant future.

The Rwandese international joined Gor Mahia on a reported $40,000 transfer fee from Rwandese side Police and has been instrumental in the Kenyan outfit’s journey at the continental level.

Tuyisenge’s future at Gor Mahia has been a subject of intense speculation since the beginning of the current Kenyan Premier League season. At some point, he was rumored to be angling for a move to French lower divisions.

He still has a running contract with Gor Mahia and the club stands to benefit in case any move materializes.

The soft-spoken goal-poacher recently joined club greats like Peter Dawo, Meddie Kagere in scoring 50 goals for K’Ogalo in official matches.
