Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) giants AS Vita looks poised to unveil Burkinabe defender Zana Oumar Coulibaly as one of their new signings.

The 26-year-old defender is among seven players that were shown the door by Tanzania Premier League champions Simba SC and it appears that he will be heading to Vita.

According to reliable sources, the right-back has agreed to a two-year contract with the club.

“He arrived here in Kinshasa last weekend. We are expecting another defender from Ghana.”

Formerly with Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas, Coulibaly has been a key player for Simba playing a key role in their 2018/2019 Caf Champions League campaign.

Simba is beefing up its squad ahead of the start of 2019/2020 Tanzania Premier League season. The club has already acquired the services of Kenyan midfielder Francis Kahata and defender Gardiel Michel.
