Ali Sowe Scores Twice on His Debut for Rostov

Ali Sowe has announced himself to the world of Russian football scoring twice on his debut for Rostov.

The attacker switched from Bulgaria where he got voted the league’s best foreign ace and he is showing value for Rostov’s decision to sign him.

The 26-year-old was hurled in a cup tie to test his levels making it from the start. He didn’t disappoint but failed short of announcing himself via the goalmouth.

However, he was on track to right those wrongs in the league debut against Zenit St Petersburg, who lead the log by five points ahead of CSKA Moscow.

Ali broke the deadlock in the 44^th minute before Zenit responded with two goals in the second half in the space of four minutes.

The tie looked headed Zenit’s way until Ali Sowe again rose to the billing to bury in the game’s final goal to force a share of the spoils.
