African Champions League Final Ticket Allocations Revealed By CAF

Al Ahly fans will receive 10,000 tickets for the African Champions League final against Wydad Casablanca, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed.

The Cairo giants allocation equates less than a quarter of the capacity of Mohamed V Stadium that is situated at the city of Casablanca in Morocco.

Al Ahly had demanded for a 50% of the 67,000 capacity stadium but the African football governing body just revealed that only 45,000 tickets will be available.

Wydad Casablanca will receive a similar allocation to Al Ahly, meaning the two clubs share about 20,000 seats in all.

CAF also disclosed that 20,000 tickets will be made available to the general public while the remaining 5,000 tickets are allocated to the CAF stakeholders and sponsors, and to the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF).

The price categories for tickets for the general public has not been revealed raising more questions about the accessibility by the general public as tickets will not be sold at the stadium.

However, CAF has made arrangements to assist with the visas for the visiting supporters upon their arrival in Morocco.

For tickets not purchased by any team, CAF says they will not be released to the public and those seats will remain vacant.

Fans have been advised not to travel to the Moroccan capital if they do not have a match ticket.
