Burundi Premier League Sunday Matches Review

Dynamik thrashed Aigle Noir 4-1 to maintain their third place on the log with 13 points behind table leaders Le Messager, who dropped points after being held to a goalless draw by Vital’O in the previous day.

Lydia Ludic Academic will rue their lost chances as they went down 6-0 to twelfth placed Olympic Star in a one-sided match played at the St. Umuco Stadium.

Elsewhere, Bujumbura City ascendancy in the league continued as they registered their seventh point in three matches after a scrappy 3-3 stalemate against Bumamuru.

The result extended the gap between them and Bunamuru with three points, with both teams remaining in the 7^th and 8^th position.

In St. Intawri Stadium, Athletico Olympic were able to stop Les Lierres from moving an inch out of the bottom of the log with a 3-1 thumping, late on Saturday evening.

The result pushed Olympic to 12^th position with 33 points, as Lierres remained at the relegation zone 20 points.
