Uganda’s Peace Proscovia Named Vitality Netball Superleague Player of the Season

Ugandan captain, Peace Proscovia was named Vitality Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season after helping her team, Loughborough Lightning to the top of the table. She amassed 812 goals and it was no surprise that she was also included in the Vitality Netball Super League All-Star VII

After a successful season, Proscovia has decided to commit further to the club for the 2018 season.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]“I am delighted to be part of Loughborough Lightning for the 2018 season having had the best experience of my career so far with Lightning in the previous seasons. I can’t wait to start the league with the rest of the squad,”[/perfectpullquote]

She said.

Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Marketing at Loughborough University, Proscovia took advantage of the University Netball program to further her talent and career. She featured in the British Universities and Colleges Sports team that won Gold in 2016/17 and also went on to be crowned British Fast5 All-Stars champions this year.

With the Commonwealth Games fast approaching, the Ugandan will also be looking at raising her country’s flag further after helping the team qualify for the games for the first time early this year.
