Uganda Cranes to Camp in Togo to Prepare for Qualifier Match Against Ghana

Immediately after the Uganda Cranes ended a 38-year-old losing streak by beating Comoros to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, the East African squad has it’s eyes on the next big thing, the World Cup.

According to reports, the Cranes will hold their training camp in Lome; Togo ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier group stage match against Ghana.

At their last meeting at the Nations Cup qualifiers, the Cranes managed to get four points, after beating them 1-0 in Kampala and securing a 1-1 draw away.

The Cranes will play an international friendly match against Ghana on Oct. 4th .The team will fly to Ghana the next day and play again on Oct. 7th.

The Cranes will look to take advantage of the gap left behind by Ghana’s injured skipper, Asamoah Gyan.
